Stanley has launched a new FatMax chisel with a superior thru tang design, making the handle 50% stronger than its predecessor, the Dynagrip Pro.
Heavy Duty and Fine Cut.
Designed specifically for fast and efficient sawing, these saws will cut on both the push and pull stroke.
Speed and smoothness is achieved by the unique tooth geometry - triple sided precision ground teeth result in razor sharp cutting edges at every stroke.
Teeth are also precision set to generate clearance of kerf for the blade, increasing cutting efficiency by 30%.
The Heavy Duty version is designed for cutting both across and along the grain and is ideal for formwork beams, thick planks of wood and rafters.
Fast cutting action is made simple thanks to seven teeth per inch.
The Fine Finish saw is designed for cutting all types of wood, laminate, plastic and PVC pipe.
Both saws are available in 22'' and 20'' versions.
In addition to the Heavy Duty and Fine Finish saws, Stanley has also introduced new application saws, designed specifically for carrying out certain tasks on site.
The new FatMax Breeze Block Saw has a specially designed 26'' blade with 1.2 teeth per inch, making it ideal for cutting cellular blocks and soft stone, whilst the FatMax Plasterboard Saw is ideal for cutting plasterboard, plaster tiles and corrugated partitions.
Finally, the FatMax Flooring Saw is ideal for cutting laminated floors, panelling, skirting boards and jointing strips.
11 teeth per inch and a special coating on the blade will reduce friction, guaranteeing a fine finish every time.
Both the Plasterboard and Flooring saws feature specially designed tooth configurations which allow for large raker teeth for fast removal of the kerf, improving cutting efficiency.
