Laing O'Rourke selected Stanton Moor Gritstone for new wing adjoining the Victoria Hospital, Blackpool, providing standard ashlar in hues of buff through pinks for the exterior walling.

The contemporary designed new GBP45m cardiac services wing adjoining the Victoria Hospital, Blackpool, is now part of four hospitals in the North West that provides specialist Cardiac Services, serving Heart Patients from Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Designed by Gilling Dod Architects, Manchester, this new wing has been built with a clear aesthetic focus, providing an important point of contact for area residents.

Laing O'Rourke, selected Stanton Moor Gritstone for this prestigious design and build project, providing standard ashlar in hues of buff through pinks for the exterior walling.

The result is a contemporary diffusion of buildings providing the Victoria Hospital with a state of the facility.
