Unico is a new profile system for steel and stainless steel thermally insulated doors and windows.

As a long term member of the Steel Window Association, Forster is constantly developing new products and has recently launched the Forster Unico system, which is now available from SWA members Unico is a new profile system for steel and stainless steel thermally insulated doors and windows

It has been specifically designed for both single and double doors as well as windows and fixed screens.

Unico offers extremely efficient thermal insulation properties of 1.9W/m2K to EN 10077-2, one of the lowest U-values for steel profiled doors and windows on the market.

Unico also fulfills the latest CE marking by complying with prEN 14351-1.

Environmentally, Unico has outstanding credentials.

The base profile comprises 100% recyclable steel, containing no environmentally polluting synthetic insulation materials.

The manufacturing process uses a new joining method, utilising a laser welding procedure.

Because of the special geometry of the supporting framework, the profiles attain extremely high static values, creating lighter profiles which enable easier handling and narrow sightlines for optimum aesthetic value.

Forster Unico comes complete with fittings and accessories and is a welcome addition to the range of products offered by SWA members.
