Available from members of the Steel Window Association, Forster's new Thermfix Light 50 Facade System is designed to facilitate the mounting of any kind of sealing panels.
The system offers extended configuration flexibility for both specifier and builder due to the unlimited choice of substructures.
Thermfix Light can be mounted on commercially available steel or aluminium profiles as well as wooden substructures and even I-beams.
Fully insulated facade walls can be constructed using a rebate insulator and glass or infill panels up to 1200kg in weight, allowing Uf values from 1.3 to 1.5.
The system offers controlled and simple water drainage using the area drainage through the rebate insulator to achieve classifications EN 12154 for water tightness and dynamic rain impact resistance as per ENV 13050.
The system also withstands impact resistance to EN 14019 achieving the strictest requirements, and wind loadings as per EN 12179 (classified to 3000Pa).
Simple, fast and economic to install, the Forster Thermfix Light 50 Facade system is heralded as an alternative for new build or refurbishment, with the system simply bolted on to any kind of substructure.
As a member of the Steel Window Association, Forster is committed to improving products and systems and works closely with the SWA to ensure that the right products and systems are brought to the UK market.
