STG achieves BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Standard
Strategic Team Group, one of the UK's fastest growing suppliers of building and property solutions, has achieved BS EN IS0 9001:2000 quality management standard.
After undergoing a rigorous three days assessment process, Strategic Team Group, one of the UK's fastest growing suppliers of building and property solutions, has achieved BS EN IS0 9001:2000 quality management standard.
In order to achieve the standard, STG had to demonstrate a quality management system in place that would enable the company to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements; and demonstrate its ability to enhance customer satisfaction via the system whilst looking to continually improve performance and the system itself.
BS EN ISO 9001:2000 focuses on eight quality management principles that can be utilised by management to enhance and improve overall performance.
These principles include focusing on the customer; leadership skills; continual improvement; the involvement of people; management by systems; process approach; factual decision making and supplier relations.
The assessment of STG revealed: fully defined processes, activities aligned with customer needs, defined approval processes, a consistent and measurable approach to continual development, set aims and objectives for improvement; comprehensive and effective training programmes, clearly defined service provision processes, periodic site audits and supervision of work, active collection of feedback, very low levels of complaints and evidence of clients' expression of satisfaction.
Charles Tweed, Business Development Director at STG, said: " We are delighted to have achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and see it as a credit to our team.
We have always been a process-based organisation and although it is true to say that we have all worked hard to achieve this standard it has also been a natural part of logically and effectively developing how STG is managed.
"We will now be assessed on an ongoing basis and will use the process to benchmark how successful we are being at conforming to regulations, improving services to customers and enhancing working conditions for our team members.".
