STG premiers in Leicester Square
Strategic Team Group has been awarded a contract in excess of GBP110k with Empire Cinemas .
Strategic Team Group, one of the UK's fastest growing suppliers of building and property solutions, has been awarded a contract in excess of £110k with Empire Cinemas The contract will involve undertaking a month long project in just 14 days and will result in Empire Cinemas becoming the first Leicester Square cinema to have a 21m wide screen with accredited THX sound system

STG completes 'back to school' projects
Working to tight deadlines over the summer, whilst schools are on holiday, Strategic Team Group has undertaken a series of 'Back to School' projects throughout Yorkshire
STG will deliver a range of services to Empire including site set up and management, the provision of powered access equipment and extensive specialist and non-specialist labour.
The project will involve removing and replacing existing sound baffle walls and surround speakers; and constructing an impressive new 21m wide by 9.6m high baffle wall.
STG will work alongside THX, NATCO Electrical Services, Bell Theatre Services and Camstage to deliver a complete solution including acoustic and electrical services.
Neil Goulding, Regional Technical Facilities Manager at Empire Cinemas said: " The project will enable us to maintain our position as one of the most prestigious cinema venues in the UK.
In addition to this the new screen and superior sound system will attract more premiership screening and deliver an amazing viewing experience for our guests".
Speaking about the contract, Charles Tweed, Business Development Director at STG, said: " We are delighted to be involved with such an exciting project in such a prestigious location".
"The schedule we are working to is tight and the work is specialist but we are confident of our ability to provide a bespoke service to Empire and deliver impressive results".
Empire Cinemas is a new UK operator taking its name from its flagship site, The Empire, Leicester Square.
In 2005 Empire acquired 18 cinemas as a result of the Odeon and UCI merger; and the Cineworld and UGC merger.
By the end of 2006 Empire will operate 142 screens across the UK.
