STG completes GBP700K warehouse
conversion
Strategic Team Group announces completion of GBP700k refurbishment project at Olympia Trading Estate, Gelderd Road, Leeds.
The project sees the conversion of a 2,600 square metre building, formerly used as warehousing for JVC Electronics and owned by Towngate Plc, to create three separate trade / retail units each with storage and warehousing accommodation The conversion project, carried out over a period of five months on behalf of Towngate Plc and project managed by CB Richard Ellis Building Consultancy team in Leeds, saw the former warehouse subdivided in to three separate properties, with unit one and three measuring 924 square metres and unit two, 729 square metres

STG completes Merseyrail renovations
Strategic Team Group has successfully completed an extensive renovations project designed to improve network facilities on behalf of Merseyrail.
Roof works included new roof lights, trims and flashing.
External works consisted of the removal and disposal of asbestos, the fitting of new windows, doors and entrance canopy.
In addition, steel impact bollards were erected to the corners of each roller shutter doors along with Armco steel barriers to the rear of the building.
Commenting on the refurbishment project, Charles Tweed, Strategic Team Group business development director said: "Although the works were extensive, this was a particularly straight forward conversion and enabled us to demonstrate our full range of building trades.
"As always, our aim was to complete the project at Olympia Trading Estate on time, on budget and to exceed expectations".
Over the last two years, Strategic Team Group has developed a strong working relationship with CB Richard Ellis, the leading commercial real estate advisor.
Richard Bamford, director of building consultancy at CB Richard Ellis commented: "Strategic have undertaken a high quality refurbishment in a testing timescale and in occasionally challenging circumstances.
All parties are very pleased with the end result and the scheme is receiving strong interest from potential tenants with the remaining units expected to be taken up shortly.
This is a true indication of a successful project".
One of the units has already been let to Screwfix, the UK's largest supplier of trade tools, accessories and hardware products.
The two remaining units are currently still available.
