Econoflame pre-mix gas-fired boiler range

A Stokvis Energy Systems product story

The Econoflame pre-mix gas-fired boiler range from Stokvis Energy Systems ensures NOx, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide emissions are as low as possible.

The recently expanded Econoflame pre-mix gas-fired boiler range from Stokvis Energy Systems ensures NOx, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide emissions are as low as possible by incorporating pre-mix burners, the latest electronic controls, and multiple-pass heat exchangers.

Air for pre-mixing with gas is introduced by a fan which is speed-controlled.

A temperature control varies the fan speed to maintain the heating capacity needed and the gas is modulated by an air pressure controlled gas valve.

From the R300 series upwards i.e all floor standing models, the bi-metallic burner tubes (stainless steel inside, aluminium outside) are connected in series with multiple-pass heat exchangers, also in stainless steel.

Water content is low, for rapid adjustment to changing conditions, and an optional boiler controlled pump is available.

With compact dimensions, small footprints and minimised flue sizes, the R300 series are built for easy access to buildings.

The larger, floor-standing models can be dismantled and reassembled to get into the least accessible spaces.

There are also wall-hung alternatives.

The wall-mounted R30 range of five boilers, with outputs of 45, 65, 85, 100, and 120kW, have a modulation ranging from around 14% to 100%, and nett efficiencies as high as 109.5%.

All five models have pre-mix burners, stainless steel heat exchangers and a pump incorporated as part of the boiler package.

The R30 is very quiet, at under 48dBa.

Fluing of the R30 series is particularly flexible; balanced flues can be fitted, as can corrosion-resistant single-wall flue pipe made of plastic, aluminium, or stainless steel.

Flue dilution/assistance systems can also be incorporated.

These models are fully condensing, as are the R300, R2900 and R3600 ranges, while the R2700, R2800, R3400 and R3500 series are semi-condensing, depending on return temperatures.

Econoflame, pre-mix boilers are included in the Government's Energy Technology List for Enhanced Capital Allowances, which means the costs both of buying and fitting one of these units can be written off against tax in the year of installation.

The entire range exceeds the stringent energy efficiency requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations, as well as the strictures of Part P on electrics and all other mandatory demands.

All the boilers carry the European Union's CE mark, comply with the European Union's Boiler Efficiency Directive, and are made under an ISO9001 quality management system.
