STATS has been appointed by Entrepose Industrial Services to provide specialist engineering and environmental services for the design of a 62km, 1.22m diameter high-pressure natural gas pipeline.

STATS has been appointed by Entrepose Industrial Services to provide specialist engineering and environmental services for the design of a 62km, 1.22m diameter high-pressure natural gas pipeline between Asselby and Pannal in Yorkshire.

Commenting on the award, STATS Director Paul Stearns says "This contract is the latest in a series of major construction projects on which STATS has been employed as a result of the broad range of specialist expertise that we offer".

"Our consultants have a wealth of experience in identifying and controlling ground-related risks on major infrastructure projects and we have recently completed similar projects to the Yorkshire pipeline in a number of countries".

"The services that we have provided include design, management and interpretation of ground and groundwater investigations, design advice on trafficability, excavatability and suitability of trench material as backfill, hydrological and hydrogeological modelling and risk assessment, and hazard assessments for landslides, mineworkings, earthquakes and faults.".
