Davyhulme Park Golf Club is the new clubhouse leader following a sparkling all-round performance by top ranking professional, Centurion Paints.

The 1920's rough textured building, built in the style of Royal Birkdale, started its round with 1,900 square metres of brilliant white Centurion Masonry, a premium quality, weather and mould resistant coating with a matt finish.

Made difficult by bad conditions as the clubhouse was last painted 20 years previous, 300 litres covered the walls before 100 square metres of easy-to-apply white Gloss completed the job by finishing the metal gutters, fire escape and hand rails in fine style.

Jim McKenna, Premises Chairman for Davyhulme Park Golf Club, said: "There were three main prerequisites to the task - the product had to give a brilliant, as-new, single colour finish over worn looking walls; the overall price had to meet strict financial boundaries and an easy application process.

"We trialled several products to varying degrees of success before deciding unanimously, with the full backing of the supplier, Centurion Paints.

The results are excellent and Davyhulme Park Golf Club are delighted with the final score.".
