Timbercare success sparks seasonal promotions

Centurion Paints is aiming to build on the success of its new Timbercare product with a range of seasonal promotions.

Following widespread demand from large trade merchants and retail decorating sectors, Centurion Paints is aiming to build on the success of its new Timbercare product with a range of seasonal promotions.

During September, the company is offering stockists the opportunity to order 40 five-litre cans in any combination of colours to be delivered by the end of October.

A competitive price will then be offered on mixed pallet orders for March 2006 delivery.

Launched in May 2005, Timbercare is an ideal decorative coating for new, weathered or previously treated fences, sheds, gates and trellises.

The product is water-based, environmentally-friendly, easy-to-apply, low odour and harmless to plants and animals when dry.

Available via builders' merchants and garden centres, Timbercare is packaged in five-litre cans with colours including Country Brown, Dark Oak, Red Cedar and Woodland Green.

Wendy Drake, Managing Director of Steyport, manufacturers of Centurion Paints, said: "Timbercare has been embraced by the market and we intend to build on its success and widen availability with targeted promotional activity".

"We expect to see sales increase rapidly over the next year.".
