Stanley wins Access Control Product of Year Award

A Stanley Security Solutions product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team May 19, 2008

Stanley Security Products new iPAC system landed a prestigious IFSEC 2008 Security Industry Award.

The iPAC access control system overcame five other shortlisted candidates to win the Access Control category at the awards, run in association with the British Security Industry Association.

The Awards ceremony was held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham to coincide with the opening day of IFSEC, the leading international exhibition.

The event was attended by the 'cream' of the security industry.

The iPAC can be installed and programmed as a complete stand-alone system but is scalable to a complete network solution with a built-in web browser for remote administration.

It is ideal for applications between 2 and 16 doors with multiple key holder access and it impressed judges with its versatility in the residential, small commercial and light industrial markets.

General manager of Stanley Security Products, Alistair Compton said: "We believe the new iPAC is a revolutionary development in access control technology and we are delighted that the judges recognised that with this award.

"We expect IFSEC to be a very exciting and successful exhibition for Stanley this year and this prestigious industry recognition has got the week off to the best possible start.".
