COPON LS1000:.
Suitable for wood, fibre board and related composite substrates this product is a water borne, single pack material and offers excellent intumescent properties as well as BS476 Part 7 Class 1 and Part 6 Class 0 surface spread of flame.
The material exhibits low smoke and toxicity and is therefore ideal for enclosed operations to which the public has direct access.
It is available in white or pale grey.
COPON LS3000.
LS3000 is a two component, high solids intumescent coating suitable for timber, hard wood, marine ply wood etc and has good resistance to most industrial chemicals and solvents.
It is an ideal product for timber substrates such as floor panels for buses, coaches and trains where it has found a significant use in recent times.
COPON LS3000 meets the requirements of BS476 Part 7 Class 1 Surface spread of flame and is available as a low gloss off white finish.
The product is also suitable for steel, aluminium and concrete.
COPON LS4000 and4000CL.
This two coat system can be applied within a day and is ideal for a range of wood, timber and fibre board applications.
The system offers BS476 Part 6 (Class 0) and Part 7 (Class 1) surface spread of flame.
Copon LS4000 is fast drying, 2-pack, water based, clear intumescent coating applied directly to the substrate.
Once tack free it is over coated with COPON LS4000CL a single pack clear lacquer.
The vendor has a choice of finish including matt, satin or full gloss.
The advantage of this system is that it can be applied and cured on the same day.
