Surface Design Show increase by over 30%
The Surface Design Show (1st - 2nd March 2006) at the Business Design Centre, London, continues to grow in size and scope with over 100 exhibitors already signed up.
The UK's only event dedicated to surface solutions in building design, The Surface Design Show (1st - 2nd March 2006) at the Business Design Centre, London, continues to grow in size and scope with over 100 exhibitors already signed up.
Leading international and UK suppliers will be showing an exciting range of innovative materials and products which can be applied to the interior shell or exterior building envelope - from floor coverings to ceiling systems, from cladding and work surfaces to commercial fabrics and paint.
Following the success of this year's event, when visitor numbers increased by 66% to 3,538, the organisers expect visitor attendance to continue to rise as the event becomes further established with UK architects and specifiers.
One of the traditional highlights of the event, the VIP Preview Evening will take place on Tuesday, 28th February.
The evening offers leading architects and designers the opportunity to gain a sneak preview of the event and to meet innovative suppliers in an exclusive environment.
In previous years Piers Gough, Ken Shuttleworth and Wayne Hemingway are just some of the figures who have attended the VIP Preview Evening.
Concentrating on the themes of Style, Substance and Sustainability the event will again boast a topical and visionary seminar programme.
More details of these will be announced shortly.
The Show has the support of major industry associations and trade bodies including the CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists), CFA (Contract Flooring Association) and The Building Centre.
Furthermore, a comprehensive CPD seminar programme will run throughout the event, accredited by the Construction CPD Certification Service, and, for the first time, The RIBA CPD Providers Network.
Visitors can pre-register for the event by going to www.surfacedesignshow.com or by calling 08701 222 894.
