Now in its fifth year, the Surface Design Show will once again be the meeting place for architects, specifiers and interior designers.
The UK's only event to focus exclusively on surface solutions in building design, displaying the latest innovate surfaces and innovative uses for established products, is returning in 2008 to the Business Design Centre in Islington (4-6 March 2008) The 2008 Surface Design Show promises to continue the tradition of premiering the most innovative, creative and imaginative surfaces in the architecture and design industry

The Surface Design Show at the Business Design Centre, London is the UK's only event dedicated to surface solutions in building design.
Building design leaders at Surface Design Show
Internationally renowned and respected members of the architectural and building design community will share their knowledge and visions at the Surface Design Show.
In 2007, the event had over 110 exhibitors and attracted over 4,300 professional visitors including representatives from many of the top architecture and interior design practices in the UK including BDP, Fosters and Partners, HOK and Conran and Partners.
The 2008 Surface Design Show promises to be the most interesting and varied show to date, with exhibitors from the United States, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium and Lithuania already signed up.
The 2008 Surface Design Show will be introducing Black and Light, a brand new feature which will celebrate the important relationship between light and materials in building design.

Sharing Information For Graduate Development
The fast-track development company A2B Development has launched a new area on their web site dedicated to sharing information about graduate and fast-track development within the construction industry
This section will show an inspiring selection of the latest and best architectural, decorative and contemporary lighting.
Black and Light will centre on a stunning installation showcasing materials that either alter their composition with light, or alter their luminosity, translucency, or colour.
In keeping with such a high profile industry event, the Surface Design Show will again host the renowned Preview Evening on 4 March, with a special VIP Event held the following night after a hugely successfully debut in 2007.
Both of these evenings will feature a keynote speech by a leading name in design.
Past speakers have included Peter Murray, Sir Richard MacCormac and the London Olympic Stadium designer, Peter Cook.
