The Surface Design Show is now seen as the ideal platform for both UK and international wallcovering specialists to introduce their latest designs to the UK and European market.

The Surface Design Show (Business Design Centre, Islington, London, 10-12 February 2009) - featuring the most innovative designs and concepts in wallcoverings.

Brian Yates and The Expanded Metal Company have proven to be two of the most popular exhibitors over the past several shows and will once again be appearing at the Business Design Centre.

In 2009, they will be displaying their latest innovations alongside Chilewich, the American specialists in commercial-grade woven vinyl fabric architects and interior designers.

Chilewich will be introducing a number of new colour ranges in earth tones, deep greens, rich reds, and metallics to its innovative Plynyl brand floor tile, wall to wall, wall covering and upholstery which rely on the stunning luminous quality of woven vinyl fabrics.

Plynyl products have been embraced by the international design community and are used in commercial, residential, hotel and spas as well as retail projects.

This innovative vinyl textile began its life as a modern alternative to traditional flooring.

Brian Yates offers one of the most comprehensive selections of wallcoverings and fabrics on the market.

At the 2009 Surface Design Show, they will be introducing ROUGE, a new sophisticated vinyl-backed wallcovering suitable for domestic and contract use.

The new range includes a variety of options including smart semi-plains with up-to-the-minute textured crush effects in an eclectic range of colours from metallic gold lustres to stone and taupes.

The Expanded Metal company will be launching the new Interior Collection at SDS2009.
