Suspended ceiling with Biocote antimicrobial
The Suspended Ceiling Restoration Company launches suspended ceiling restoration coating with Biocote antimicrobial technology.
Senior Operations Manager of Lorne Stewart comments: "The SCR coatings not only give our ceilings a like new appearance at a fraction of the cost of replacement, we are also provided with the added security that the antibacterial capabilities will inhibit the growth of bacteria for the life of the coating".
"The non-bridging formulation ensures that the ceiling tiles do not stick to the grid after application and the ability to maintain our fire rating and acoustic properties ensures that regulatory compliance is uncompromised".
Mark Beighton, Managing Director of SCR comments: "Many patients will spend over 95% of their time in hospital looking up at the ceiling during their recovery period".
"Whilst surveying a number of healthcare facilities across the UK we were astounded to discover that some 75% of suspended ceilings showed some sign of visible discolouration or staining".
"We focussed on developing a product which is easy to apply, will minimise costs and ,critically for environments where cross contamination must be avoided, we developed a coating that will assist in inhibiting the growth of bacteria".
The SCR ceiling coatings can be supplied in a patented spray-can version (SO-10) which will coat up to 20 tiles for as little as GBP9, in bulk drums for self application or can be applied swiftly by SCR's team of skilled technicians for large areas such as wards or public corridors.
Mr Beighton continues: "The partnership with Biocote has given our customers the added assurance that their existing facilities can be maintained at a higher level of clinical cleanliness than many newly constructed buildings".
"I am proud to be able to support them in their consistent drive to reduce cross-contamination".
"At the same time we are providing huge environmental impact benefits, due to the fact that the existing ceiling tiles are not being added to the waste stream". Request a free brochure from Suspended Ceiling Restoration Company ...
