Surestop - The easy way to turn off water

A Surestop product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Sep 27, 2007

Surestop Water Switch allows you to turn off your water supply at the flick of a switch and protect your property from water damage.

Surestop will be launching the latest version of the Surestop Water Switch at Interbuild.

The Surestop Water Switch allows you to turn off your water supply at the flick of a switch and protect your property from water damage.

The new Surestop switch is now the same size as a single light switch and can be recessed or surface mounted, making it ideal for the new build and refurbishment markets.

Domestic water leaks cost UK homeowners GBP1.8 billion and it affects 3.3 million households every year.* However if there is a burst pipe over a third of householders do not know where their stop cock is located.

Half of those that do know where its located never check it, to see if its working.** Even if you do know where it is located Conventional brass stopcocks are often difficult to access and operate particularly for the elderly.

The Surestop water switch provides the simple answer to an age-old problem.

The Surestop consists of a valve which connects directly into the water supply which is connected by flexible tubing to a remote switch, which can be located in a convenient position.

You then simply press the switch to turn the water supply on or off.

The Surestop is:.

* Easy to install - typically in less than an hour.

* Powered by water pressure - the Surestop requires no batteries or electricity.

* Totally reliable and proven - with over 150,000 units already in use.

Come and visit us on stand Q27 in Hall 3A at Interbuild which takes place from 28th Oct - 1st Nov 2007.
