A Kalwall translucent wall has featured on a new industrial building for Domino's Pizza Group in Milton Keynes.

The Kalwall wall expresses its function with a smooth wrap-over roof that aligns the main elevation and service yard with the A5 road.

The Kalwall translucent, insulating cladding system was chosen for the way it diffuses natural daylight into the building, and for its reverse ability to glow at night.

This is achieved by featuring coloured LED lighting which reflects the company logo to emphasise the facade while creating a permanent advertising billboard.

The production and distribution facility will service more than 500 Domino's stores and will be pivotal in helping the company to achieve its goal of opening 1200 stores by 2021.

These buildings are being designed to the highest environmental standards with the commissary achieving a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
