Swisspacer global sales up 25% year on year

UK sales of Swisspacer's leading warm edge spacer increased 110% in the first six months of 2008 compared to the same period in 2007.

Global sales, including the UK, increased by 25% year on year.

Demand from window fabricators and sealed unit manufacturers who want to offer the best performing windows is driving sales so much that Swisspacer recently increased its manufacturing capacity by 30% to stay ahead.

In the UK its network of sealed unit manufacturers and window fabricators is growing rapidly with new customers like Darby Glass, Scunthorpe, and Premier (DGU) , Exeter, and in Ireland Carey Glass and National Seal.

Swisspacer is one of the top performing warm edge spacer brands.

Tests conducted by IFT Rosenheim, the independent European fenestration research and test facility, show Swisspacer outperforms all other spacers for Psi values so it helps windows achieve the highest energy ratings.

While Swisspacer's performance is ahead of other warm edge spacers, it exactly matches the shape and dimensions of aluminium spacers.

This means sealed unit manufacturers and fabricators don't need costly, specially adapted sealed unit machinery to use Swisspacer.
