Swisspacer V improvements for Cristal Glass

The majority of sealed units manufactured by Cristal Glass and Glazing now employ Swisspacer V warm edge spacers.

The change is already paying dividends for the leading sealed unit supplier Cristal Glass and Glazing (Leicester).

Director Dave Brewin says: "We researched the warm edge market and found that Swisspacer V was best for performance and ease of use".

"Our previous warm edge spacer caused bottle necks in the factory because it had to be applied using specialist equipment that only one man could operate at a time, but Swisspacer is easy to assemble, which has improved our efficiency".

Cristal Glass and Glazing offers a 10 year warranty and the products used within the sealed unit undergo rigorous testing.

Swisspacer V was tested by Chiltern Dynamics to ensure it complied with EN1279 Part 2.

It passed with flying colours and the standard was achieved using single seal Hot Melt (Bostik P5125).
