No early retirement for Swish Products

Swish pays attention to detail
Swish Building Products has extended its range of decorative roofline accessories to include a comprehensive collection of Dentils, Gallows and a feature Corbel.
Dave Osborne, Technical Services Manager of Swish Building Products explains: "Good quality eaves protection units are essential in refurbishment work".
"They support the roofing felt behind the fascia and so help to prevent the build up of water, but there is a downside".
"Once installed, conventional protectors can make access to the fascia more difficult particularly when it comes to fitting gutter brackets".
"We are sure that installers will appreciate this new fitter-friendly unit which will not only provide first class protection but will make the process of gutter installation a lot easier".
The Swish Vented Eaves Protector has an optional Bird Comb attachment, that doesn't interrupt the movement of moisture over the fascia, but ensures that birds and larger insects cannot get underneath profiled roof tiles.
Nails or screws are guided accurately into the fascia via fixing ports with 'sleeves', and the 1m units overlap at the ends to keep moisture out.
The unit also provides over fascia ventilation into the roof void to comply with the requirements of Building Regulations Part C.
This means that plain soffits can be installed which have greater 'kerb appeal'.
