All SwimEx pools incorporate patented paddlewheel 'wall of water' propulsion system that generates over 30,000 gallons of laminar water flow per minute at over 99 current speeds.

A line of nine different aquatic therapy pool models from SwimEx offers physical therapists and athletic trainers the ability to configure pool size and workstation features to meet the differing spatial requirements of their facilities, the therapeutic needs of their patient population, and the financial and growth plans of their practices All SwimEx Aquatic Therapy Pools feature a patented "wall of water" paddlewheel propulsion system that generates over 30,000 gallons of laminar water flow per minute at over 99 current speeds

"Athletic trainers and physical therapists have long recognized the dynamic value of aquatic therapy for injury rehabilitation," said Rob Lawton, ATC, CSCS, SwimEx Sales Manager.

"But they are often concerned about fitting a pool into their existing facility or incorporating aquatic therapy into their business and administrative regimen".

"By offering a broad line of pools we provide physical therapists and athletic trainers with the versatility to structure a program to their specific needs".

SwimEx Aquatic Therapy Pools offer a complete isokinetic aquatic therapy system.

Starting with little or no water resistance, patients in initial stages of rehab can begin therapy sooner due to the buoyancy of water.

Utilizing the multi-depth capabilities of SwimEx Aquatic Therapy Pools, the therapist can progress the patient from non-weight bearing activities to different levels of partial weight-bearing.

Results can be measured objectively as patients progress through the continuum of variable depths and increasing water resistance in the SwimEx aquatic therapy pool.

Treatment can extend into a full range of training and conditioning.

Available with water surface lengths ranging from 8 to 18 ft and widths from 6.5 to 10 ft, SwimEx Aquatic Therapy Pools are available either as single or multi-piece units.

The multi-piece 1000T, 700T, 600T, 500T and 470T models are designed for installation in existing space for remodeling projects (but can also be factory-assembled for new construction).

One-piece models include the PT500, 500OT, 400OT, and the smallest pool in the line, the 60T.

These models have no seams, require no assembly on site and are designed for new construction projects.

The line also includes a wide range of features, exercise equipment and other accessories.

SwimEx pools offer a range of depths from three to seven feet, with most models offering multiple depth areas to allow variable weight bearing stress.

SwimEx models also include varying numbers and configurations of built-in workstations, including plyometric pads, open and closed kinetic exercise benches and steps, and angled running platforms.

Available exercise equipment includes integrated motorized and drop-in self-propelled aquatic treadmills, aqua cycles, ellipses and recliners, as well as a range of other aquatic accessories.

"Physical Therapists have found the addition of a SwimEx pool has had a very positive effect on their practice and their bottom line," said Lawton.

"In addition to patient benefits, we've had numerous reports of installations paying for themselves in as little as six months from increases in physician and other referrals".

"And offering a SwimEx based Aquatic Therapy Program can also provide clinics with a distinct competitive advantage over other clinics in their area".

SwimEx Aquatic Therapy Pools can be installed above ground, partially above ground, or in-ground, and include observation windows.

Pools are self-supporting and made of specialized composite fiberglass that provides superior strength and durability, as well as excellent appearance and ease of maintenance.

SwimEx pools include a gel coat finish and colorful waterline tile that is clean in appearance and easy to maintain.

SwimEx has been a pioneer in the development of fiberglass swim spas, or current pools, for aquatic therapy and training since it patented its unique paddlewheel propulsion system.

Designed to meet the aquatic exercise needs of health professionals, athletic trainers, physical therapists and homeowners, SwimEx pools are used by professional and collegiate athletic programs, as well as health clubs, physical therapists and fitness-minded homeowners around the world.

SwimEx aquatic therapy and sports conditioning pools feature adjustable current speed and water temperature and decorative finish options, as well as a wide range of plyometric accessories.
