Solarsoft Business Systems today launches its next-generation ERP software for merchant, wholesale and distribution businesses The software, powered by Solarsoft's xVP technology, is the result of significant investment into research and development, made possible by the company's recent expansion following a series of acquisitions

Software versions are available for heavyside builders' merchants; electrical and plumbing suppliers; kitchen and bathroom specialists; industrial equipment wholesalers; specialist suppliers of electronic components; and distributors of fast moving consumer goods.

The software includes over 200 new features and is available on multiple operating systems.

Steven Hargreaves, Product Director at Solarsoft, says, "There is a growing demand from merchants, wholesale and distribution businesses for modern, open systems that enable them to operate more efficiently, whilst streamlining customer service and maximising profits".

"Solarsoft's new ERP software is designed to do far more than simply taking care of accounts and stock records".

"The software actively helps businesses deliver the flexible service, sharp prices and reliable product delivery critical to winning orders in tough markets".

Hargreaves continues, "This software is simple to implement and easy to learn, cutting training time and delivering value from day one".

"The key benefits include better management information, more effective sales order processing, smarter buying and efficient stock and warehouse operations".

Over 1,700 corporate customers in North America, Europe and Asia rely on Solarsoft to support their daily operations.

"With the new xVP technology, we offer the addition of new user-friendly features that add value in sales and on the trade counter".

"The intuitive Windows interface and a 'Google-like' search engine cut the time needed to find products and customer accounts".

Hargreaves concludes, "Solarsoft's commitment to investment in research and development is backed by our strong acquisition strategy for 2008 and beyond".
