Symphony introduces luxurious bi-fold wardrobes

A Symphony product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 27, 2007

Symphony introduce a suite of contemporary bi-fold wardrobes, available across its 16 bedroom furniture ranges.

Combining multi-functional, clever storage and striking good looks - whether for contemporary or more traditional bedroom designs - the inward fold feature enables homeowners to fully open a four-door wardrobe and see everything inside at a glance, without the space constraints of traditional outward opening doors.

Where space is at a premium, a single bi-fold wardrobe door can fold neatly back against an adjoining wall, avoiding the typical problem of doors swinging out against beds or bedside cabinets.

Kathleen Lyon, Symphony's Building Division Marketing Manager, comments: "Storage is a key selling point for many prospective buyers.

Developers need flexible and versatile solutions so that they can make use of all the space available in the bedroom.

"Our bi-fold wardrobes help to answer the increased demand from the property development market for multi functional and stylish storage, creating clutter-free space and adding value to the home".

The introduction of bi-fold wardrobes from Symphony follows hard on the heels of its launch of Glisse: a new range of contemporary sliding wardrobes, further enhancing the versatility of the company's extensive bedroom furniture collection.

With contrasting pearwood and wenge to evoke the distinctive Japanese shoji paper screens so typical of oriental interior design, the Mia range perfectly complements the bi-fold feature.

Symphony is the UK's largest privately owned supplier of fitted furniture.

The company has a large and experienced design team which works flexibly with developers to answer specific design requirements.
