Investment strengthens TAC Satchwells Micronet
TAC Satchwell has announced the successful development of its new MicroNet MN50 Series controllers.
TAC Satchwell, the leading provider of building automation solutions based on integrated systems, has announced the successful development of its new MicroNet MN50 Series controllers.
The four new controllers, complete with bus du jour communications options, are now undergoing site trials prior to their planned market launch in Spring 2006.
MicroNet is a building management solution that provides a selection of interchangeable communication protocols for seamless integration of current and future building network technologies.
The MN50 Series is a major upgrade of the existing, successful MicroNet controllers and spans the full line of MicroNet system hardware.
MN50 introduces many new features as well as bringing with it more powerful processing, and increased robustness.
Coupled with new and enhanced engineering tools, the MN50 controllers will also be simpler and quicker to engineer and install, with easier wiring and greater fault tolerance.
Paul Fileman from TAC Satchwell says: "Our investment in MicroNet continues and we have been in continual dialogue with many of our partners to solicit their feedback on ways in which the hardware and software can be developed to best meet market needs".
"The MN50 Series is designed to accelerate project engineering and minimise operational problems, and we are delighted to be able to tell our customers and partners that we have a solid product roadmap in place, including significant enhancements and developments".
He continues: "We have always placed an extremely high emphasis on protecting our customers' investments in our existing systems, as well as future solutions, and we will continue to deliver on this promise." The investment in MicroNet follows the merger of TAC and Satchwell Controls in August of 2005, which made TAC Satchwell the fastest growing and most innovative company in its sector.
