TRADA takes timber frame on the road
TRADA Technology , through its specialist frameCHECK service, is taking timber frame on the road with a new training course entitled 'The A-Z of Timber Frame'.
It has evolved from the Woodmex and ASFI exhibitions and will be supported by other associations within the timber supply, processing and furniture industries.
The seminar programme will be both topical and thought-provoking, he added.
"The timber industry will be well represented both as exhibitors and visitors to the show and the seminars will reflect market trends as well as technical developments".
Mr Scott added: "Our aim will be to stage seminars which will cover topical business issues, which in turn will help attendees to gain a clearer understanding of the implications for their business.
They are then able to talk to suppliers in a more independently informed way about products and services on display which could provide a practical solution to their business needs".
The re-packed exhibition will include timber and sheet materials as well as machinery suppliers, appealing to a broader spectrum of visitors than in the past.
Working with Wood takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from 8th - 11th October 2006.
