Classic Timber Frame Homes became the 400th company in 2006 to join TRADA, the Timber Research and Development Association.

Classic Timber Frame Homes in Northern Ireland became the 400th company in 2006 to join TRADA, the Timber Research and Development Association, because of the 'first class' technical information and literature on offer Managing Director of the timber frame design, manufacturing and erection company, Barry Brunton, had been impressed with the TRADA helpline, when the company started up some 20 months ago

'You really are one of the few who do call back with answers when you say you will and your consultants have gone out of their way to find answers to what we in Northern Ireland need to know about timber frame and the regulations here.

We decided to join because of the additional support available to us as Corporate members.' TRADA membership had in fact exceeded the 400 mark at the end of the year and as Chief Executive Andrew Abbott said, 'TRADA's profile in the industry has been raised hugely in the past year.

Recent additions to the membership package, such as the appointment of our Construction Regulations Consultant Rupert Scott and the new case study area on the website, underline our commitment to continuing to offer members value for money'.

Further new initiatives, particularly in the area of Training and Education, are under consideration for 2007.
