grading course
TRADA Technology has expanded its popular hardwood visual strength grading course to include tropical as well as temperate species.
TG3 Visual strength grading hardwood (Temperate and Tropical) runs over three days and will provide delegates with an understanding of the visual strength grades set out in BS 5756: 2007 'Specification for visual strength grading of hardwood' The course ends with a practical examination by sister company BM TRADA Certification and certificates of proficiency will be awarded to successful candidates

Also at High Wycombe, TRADA Technology will run the following VSG courses in 2008:.
TG1 Visual strength grading - softwood (7 days).
Grading to BS 4978:2007 'Softwood grades for structural use'.
29 January - 1 February and 4 - 6 February ; 1 - 4 April and 7 - 9 April; 17 - 20 June and 23 - 25 June; 16 - 19 September and 22 - 24 September; 18 - 21 November and 24 - 26 November .
TG2 (3 days) re-sit course: 4 - 6 February; 7 - 9 April; 23 - 25 June; 22 - 24 September; 24 - 26 November.
TG4 Scaffold board grading (4 days).
Grading to BS 2482:1981 'Timber scaffold boards'.
Dates: 30 September - 3rd October 2008.
