Tottenham Hotspur has reduced costs and labour by installing mains-fed Tana Water machines in its restaurant, coaches' area, medical centre, reception and education centre.

The stadium's traditional water coolers were replaced with mains-fed filters to reduce the expense and effort of changing the 5 litre bottles, which weigh 19kg each and need to be replaced frequently during the warmer months The new machines dispense chilled mains water that is treated with ultraviolet light to destroy any germs and filtered to improve the taste

Tana Water UK is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tana Industries, one of the world's leading developers and producers of mains-fed water dispensers.

Tana has been active in the UK since 1993 and has installed more than 15,000 dispensers in the UK within the private and public sector, including government establishments; domestic environments; educational establishments and healthcare providers.

All Tana dispensers have Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) Approval and only use WRAS approved installation parts, ensuring that our dispensers are suitable to be connected to mains water supplies.

To substantially reduce electricity consumption, all new hot and cold Tana dispensers are fitted with an energy saving mode to power down machines when not in use.

Tana Water mains-fed machines are 100% recyclable and use biodegradable carbon and UV filters.

Used units are returned to our factory and refurbished for use in developing countries.

Extending their use in this way considerably reduces waste sent to landfill and reduces the carbon footprint of the dispensers over their lifecycle.
