Tamdown Group launches new business

A Tamdown Group product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 24, 2007

Tamdown Group has launched Environmental Asbestos Solutions, a new business entirely dedicated to the potentially hazardous removal of asbestos from buildings.

The new business, Environmental Asbestos Solutions (EAS) will work alongside Tamdown Regeneration on some of the country's most challenging contaminated land projects.

EAS has a full license from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to remove asbestos containing material in all its forms ranging from AIB (asbestos insulating board) to lagging and sprayed coatings.

Tamdown Regeneration Director Chris Dore said: "The launch of EAS is very exciting as it means that we can now offer a fully integrated flexible service to our clients giving them the confidence that this riskiest of all site preparations will be delivered with Tamdown's trademark quality".

"It will make life much easier for developers in that they will now only need to make one order, deal with one point of contact and there will be clear lines of responsibility for safety".

EAS is based in Maldon in Essex.

Mr Dore added: "The good thing about EAS is that as it is part of the Tamdown Group we are able to offer this specialized and skilled work at a very competitive price".

"Our aim is to make the developer's life easier and we fully understand the pressures they are under every day".

"EAS will enable us to be even more efficient, effective and fast when preparing our clients' sites for development".

As well as asbestos removal, Tamdown Regeneration now offers site and tree clearance, demolition, remediation and enabling works often incorporating the installation of initial sales areas and compound installations.
