Tamdown Group's double win at RoSPA Awards

A Tamdown Group product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jun 9, 2010

Tamdown Group, the civil engineering and ground works contractor, is celebrating a double achievement in health and safety.

The company has been awarded RoSPA's (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Occupational Health and Safety Gold Award for 2010.

The award was presented to the Tamdown Group at a ceremony in the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel at the National Exhibition Centre on 12 May 2010.

The RoSPA awards encourage businesses to develop robust health and safety management systems, as well as reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work.

To win the award, businesses must demonstrate a commitment to delivering and implementing strong health and safety management systems that engage their employees.

Tamdown Group has also been chosen to feature in a video case study on the Health and Safety Executive's website as a part of its 'Safe and Sound At Work - Do Your Bit' campaign.
