TB Davies commissioned to design, produce and fit a fixed hoop ladder, attached to the cowl on top of the Senedd building.

Specialist access fabricator T.B.Davies (UK) is delighted to have been involved with the landmark project that is the Welsh Assembly Senedd.

The Bridgend-based specialist manufacturer was commissioned to design, produce and fit a fixed hoop ladder, attached to the cowl on top of the Senedd building.

Also within the remit was the guard railed walkway around the lantern - allowing safe and assured maintenance to the cowl and lantern when required.

The Senedd building has been designed and constructed to be as "green" as possible.

Not only is it constructed from largely locally sourced materials, but there is an Earth heat Exchange System and the cowl/lantern combination provide both natural light and ventilation to the debating chamber below.

Steve Meredith, Managing Director at T.B.Davies in Bridgend commented; "we jumped at the opportunity to work on the Assembly building.

The Senedd is a real symbol of modern Wales and something we are very proud to have contributed to.

T.B.Davies design and produce specialist access equipment for a wide variety of industries including aerospace, construction, warehousing, transport and logistics.
