TBS are Building Schools for the Future

A TBS Fabrications product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jan 5, 2007

TBS's Spectra Square cubicle system was selected for the newly built Blackshaw Lane Primary School.

TBS were enlisted to help make sure that the pupils of newly built Blackshaw Lane Primary School had the perfect cubicles to compliment their modern, bright learning environment.

TBS's Spectra Square cubicle system was selected because it's a attractive, practical yet economical solution for such a high traffic environment.

This particular system incorporated panels that were laminate-faced on to moisture resistant chipboard, finished with a 2mm thick PVC edge for increased durability.

Safety is always an issue in schools and therefore several different height cubicles were specified to ensure easy adult supervision.

An emergency release mechanism for the indicator bolt provided the teachers with further reassurance of the pupils well being.

Spectra was also ideal because it allowed the school to chose 3 different fun designs and colour schemes to suit the different genders and ages of the children using the cubicles.
