The Building Centre is now home to New London Architecture (NLA), a permanent exhibition space presenting the buildings and projects currently transforming the capital.
A giant model of central London and displays covering all 33 London boroughs fills the ground floor galleries alongside the Bookshop, Cafe, temporary exhibitions and the Centre's traditional product stands.
This spectacular new display will substantially increase the number of visitors and bring new audiences to Store Street.
NLA will promote innovation and high quality design, engaging with professionals and the public alike to create a wider understanding of the importance of architecture.
Curated by Peter Murray of Wordsearch, managed by Nick McKeogh of Pipers in conjunction with the Building Centre Trust and with an education programme by Open House Learning, it will provide a focal point for Londoners and the city's visitors as an all-encompassing resource of information on development in the capital at any point in time.
It will address issues and projects affecting London, extending the involvement of local communities in planning and urban design and provide a forum for debate and the sharing of specialist knowledge.
