tc bathrooms takes soft line on toilets

A tc bathrooms product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Oct 24, 2007

tc bathrooms has introduced soft close seats as standard on all but its entry level range.

As the trend towards soft closers increases, [tc] bathrooms recognized how soft closing technology on its main standard ranges meant that retailers could increase their margins and offer the opportunity to upgrade a sale.

Steve Parkinson, Sales Director of [tc] bathrooms, said: "Recently, the bathroom market has undergone a subtle change of emphasis and soft closers have become a must have feature for many consumers".

"Offering soft close on our ranges as standard now allows our retailers to create a much more interesting selling proposition for these consumers".

"In the past, soft closers were only available on toilets at the premium end of the market, but now we can offer them across our range as standard".

"We expect this will help our retailers increase their WC sales even further." [tc] bathrooms offers a complete range of both traditional and more contemporary toilets.

This includes wall hung, back to wall and more traditional close coupled toilets.

The company has seen tremendous interest in its Dakota and Magna suites recently.

Dakota features a popular minimalist look of suite and toilet with smooth curves, providing an attractive oval shape, perfect in form and function.

The new Magna range offers the option of a wall hung or back to wall toilet, both with a subtle, minimalistic design that maximizes use of space in the bathroom Steve Parkinson continues: "Until fairly recently, toilets were relatively standard items of sanitary ware and varied little from range to range".

"Now, the possibilities are endless with as much attention being paid to the sculptured form of toilets as for our baths and sinks".

"The toilet now stands in its own right as an item of beauty and one of the true modern classics within the home.".
