The Chartered Institute of Building's Annual Review 2005 has won the 'Best Annual Review' category at the Memcom Awards 2007.

The Chartered Institute of Building's Annual Review 2005 has won the 'Best Annual Review' category at the Memcom Awards 2007, held at the Cabinet War Rooms in London.

The annual Memcom Awards recognise communications excellence in membership organisations from all industries, and attract a large number of entries from organisations based throughout the UK.

The CIOB was up against strong competition in the 'Best Annual Review' category.

The Judges commended the publication as having 'a refreshing presentation' with content that was 'wide ranging and succinct'.

Tom Hastings, CIOB design and publications manager, commented: "This is a tremendous achievement for the Institute and reflects how far we have come in all areas of communications in the past 12 months".

"After the success of the Annual Review 2004, which was highly commended in last year's Memcom Awards, we aimed to go one better - and that is what we have achieved".

"This was a great opportunity for us to showcase the CIOB's work to fellow membership organisations." The CIOB Annual Review 2005 is available to view online.

Hard copies are also available by contacting Tom Hastings on thastings@ciob.org.uk.
