CIOB and Croner join forces

New partnership between the Chartered Institute of Building and Croner will see CIOB Members given access to Croner's expertise at a discounted rate.

Croner, part of Wolters Kluwer UK, is one of the foremost providers of business information, advice and consultancy services with particular expertise in the high-risk areas of health and safety and employment law John Douglas CIOB director said, "The industry recognises that too many people in construction are injured or suffer from health problems

The partnership with Croner will not only add to the benefits of being a member of the CIOB, it will also help those members to protect their employees and businesses.

"Their health and safety service includes a management system and risk assessments, a 24 hour telephone helpline, crisis support and insurance to cover the cost of an investigation should the worse happen, Croner's experts also run 'Open Surgeries' where realistic solutions can be found to real life problems.

CIOB members will also be able to benefit from Croner's employment service, which offers a framework for managing employees.
