Consign offers support for apprentices
Consign Construction Skills has partnered with Prospects College to identify and manage appropriate work placements for its construction apprentices.
The construction industry is being particularly affected by the recession, making it difficult for employers to commit to employing apprentices.
This prevents apprentices from undertaking the work experience essential to meeting the requirements of their apprenticeship programme.
Construction companies can cost effectively recruit and manage apprentices by working with Consign and Prospects College.
Construction companies can either work with apprentices in their own right or by sharing them with other employers in their area.
