ATB Designs with Thermbridge
ATB Systems, working with Thermbridge, have jointly designed an aluminium casement window system to incorporate the Thermbridge 'clip and pour' thermal break.
ATB Systems Limited have been working with Thermbridge and have jointly designed an aluminium casement window system to incorporate the Thermbridge 'clip and pour' thermal break.
The new slim casement system has a simulated thermal frame value which allows the complete window, with high performance glazed units, to achieve a Fenestration Rating Council of Class 'B' for insulation.
The Director's of ATB comment, "We have been working in close consultation with Thermbridge as we specialise in meeting the demand in the UK for resin fill thermal breaks as well as producing our own fabricated window systems".
"The results of our production trials are encouraging and we expect the systems developed using the new technology will offer competitively priced windows".
These new systems will be capable of being used in both a commercial and residential application and will offer a high level of weather performance.
ATB moved to the Midlands ten years ago from Ashbourne and have since developed a wide range of systems based on resin fill designs, the new 'clip and pour' arrangement allows the company to improve the performance of their systems with minimum investment in new machinery whilst allowing class beating thermal performance.
ATB supply door and window products for the healthcare and education sectors in the UK which includes commercial and modular relocatable buildings.
