TDSi, a leading UK security solutions provider announce the release of version 1.4 of their PC software, eXguard PRO.

This version can now fully support TDSi's MicroGarde providing disruption-free business expansion.

MicroGarde is a 1 door/2 reader access control unit which is an easy to install, competitively priced access control solution developed by TDSi for entry-level customers.

Offering immediate increased security for minimum cost and installation time, MicroGarde offers as standard a host of advanced features including network connectivity and maximum controller installation flexibility.

With the aid of TDSi's eXguard PRO version 1.4, MicroGarde can be combined with CCTV for improving employee monitoring.

As well as improving the efficiency, businesses can now check that the employee or visitor using a card is in fact the allocated person and confirms that this person enters restricted areas only.

The software has the intelligence to pull from a database all the CCTV images of any designated employee or visitor by name.

In addition by using this latest software, MicroGarde can integrate with intruder alarms to reduce the number of false alarms.

TDSi's systems can ensure that if an employee tries to set the alarm when somebody else is still in the building, the access control system will override the alarm.

It is also possible to utilise a mixed system using MicroGarde controllers and TDSi's eX range of controllers to reduce system cost whilst also enhancing the system functionality.

Also within version 1.4 there are more options available to you such as a quick and easy fire report button, support for network IP cameras, various DVRs plus many more features.
