TDSi announce the release of Version 2.1 of the PC software for both MicroGarde 1 (1 door/2 reader) and MicroGarde 2 (2 door/4 reader) controllers.

TDSi, a leading UK security solutions provider announce the highly anticipated release of Version 2.1 of the PC software for both MicroGarde 1 (1 door/2 reader) and MicroGarde 2 (2 door/4 reader) controllers.

The new software release delivers low total cost of ownership by offering a highly flexible and easily configurable platform.

This is done by increasing the potential number of connected controllers to 200 across 32 ports.

Version 2.1 incorporates informative real-time event, retrieval and reporting capabilities enabling the user to save time on administration.

The retrieved information can now be used more easily and readily by other applications, such as time and attendance packages.

Power failure events and the operation of the controller tamper switch are also now shown in the event list.

Other advanced features allow the user to configure the allocation of memory in the controller between events and card holders, to define holidays and to specify which cards or personnel may require longer lock strike open time for compliance with DDA requirements.

MicroGarde Version 2.1 is now supplied as standard and free of charge with all MicroGarde access control units and can be installed in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Chinese languages.

The software contains full online context sensitive help, hints and tool tips to assist the user when using the software and is fully supported by TDSi's in-house team of technical specialists.

TDSi's MicroGarde controllers are compatible with most of TDSi's comprehensive range of readers.
