It follows the hugely successful event held in April 2003 at the Imperial War Museum North in Salford Quays, when Daniel Libeskind was guest of honour.
Civic Trust Awards manager Eleanor Murkett said: "It is the intention of the Civic Trust to use Award-winning sites for the presentation event wherever possible.
This is a positive way for the Trust to demonstrate the quality of its award-winning projects as well as create an opportunity for guests and the media to appreciate the contribution which buildings make to local communities and the environment.
"As with Salford Quays, we are organising a study visit around Bristol on the afternoon of the event and we will be holding a conference on regeneration and communities on the following day." The closing date for entries for the 2004 Awards is 19 September 2003.
