New support for the Green Roof Campaign
The Flat Roof Alliance and The Mastic Asphalt Council have pledged their formal support for the Green Roof Campaign.
This year sees the FRA highlighting small contractors through its special achievement award, inviting them to enter their best bituminous flat roofing project of up to 250m2, thus giving acknowledgement to the small works carried out within the industry.
Formed in 1997, The Flat Roofing Alliance (FRA) is the recognised trade association for the flat roofing industry supporting hundreds of companies throughout the UK.
Committed to raising the awareness and standards of workmanship, quality and excellence for Bituminous roofing works through the UK, the FRA provides the small roofing contractor with increased credibility and recognition, greater visibility, training advice, sales leads, warranty schemes and technical information - encompassed by extremely high technical craftsmanship throughout the industry.
Having received a high number of entries of exceptional quality, diversity and credibility the FRA alongside its distinguished panel of judges compiling of leading figures from the construction industry have given up their time to voluntarily provide independent decisions on who will be announced winners and runners up.
Decisions close to being made will be announced at a lavish awards ceremony to be held on February 26th the London Marriot Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
For the past four years the FRA awards have been possible through the support and sponsorship of SIG Roofing Supplies Group.
"We are delighted to be fully involved with the FRA awards once again" said Stuart Base, Marketing Manager, SIG Roofing Supplies.
"The FRA provides much more than awards scheme for its members as it continues to promote the excellence of roofing".
