The Stainless steel or Brass Dorfone 3000TP can include a day/night colour camera.
When a visitor presses the push button on the entry panel, the standard telephone or mobile will ring.
The door call can then be answered from any telephone in the house or flat.
Should the resident be next door with their cordless telephone, or in the garden, they can speak to the visitor, provided they are in the range of the base station.
Alternatively, keying a simple code on the telephone, the Dorfone 2000TP or 3000TP will call any preprogrammed mobile telephone number.
If a lock release is fitted, it can be operated by a key press from the telephone.
Should the resident be speaking on the telephone when a visitor calls, the resident will hear a 'buzz-buzz' in the earpiece.
He can then put the telephone call on hold, and speak to the visitor.
Should the resident be speaking to a visitor at the front door when a telephone call comes in, a low volume ring is heard in the earpiece.
He can then clear the front door call and answer the telephone call.
