Paddy Tipping MP, is to Chair the insulation industry's national conference, 'Working In Partnership for a Sustainable Future', to be held on June 30, 2004
He referred to the need for greater acknowledgment and a higher profile for insulation as "the most energy saving, but under valued product and service." Also at the function Eoin Lees was awarded the Association's coverted John Baker Cup, which is named after the Association's founder and awarded annually to the person who has best helped the industry to move forward.
Eoin Lees has been the driving force behind the Energy Efficiency Commitment Scheme and the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes, in which the Association participates.
