Terreal wins award for best construction website

Terreal has received acclaim at the Trophes Internet de la construction et de l'Immobilier (Internet Awards for Construction and Real Estate).

For the third time in four years, Terreal has received acclaim at the Trophes Internet de la construction et de l'Immobilier (Internet Awards for Construction and Real Estate) where its website, Terrealfacade.com, won the award for the best website in the category of industrial companies with more than 500 employees.

This most recent award, coming in the wake of different prizes won by Terreal for its traditional brochures/print documentation and Internet content, attests to the dynamism of a company that has now become one of the leading players in the construction sector.

Terrealfacade.com, developed by Terreal in conjunction with the ALTER-ID graphic design agency, is geared essentially for international consultants (architect offices, design and engineering offices, contracting authorities).

With more than 50% of its terracotta facade revenue coming from its international activity, the website delivers content in French, English, Italian, and Spanish.

Olivier Rober, director of facade business and international development, says that the site aims to be a suggestion box as well as a toolbox.

The website is both detailed and dynamic, and its technical design aid tool provides the leverage to move effortlessly from project design to development.

Consultants have access to a comprehensive color chart with which they can preview numerous combinations of formats and shades offered by the Terreal facade range of products.

The site is an online source for all the company's documentation as well as all product technical recommendations.

The terracotta ventilated facade market is a burgeoning market started by Terreal just over 20 years ago and has grown considerably to achieve world recognition.

The terracotta facade is a decidedly contemporary product with a notable aesthetic dimension, and this has prompted the company to further enhance the site with a project gallery that lists more than 250 projects completed worldwide, illustrated by photos.

The project library provides on ongoing source of inspiration for all creators and their clients.

In this new market where innovative solutions continue to proliferate, Terreal's site provides access to a toolbox that allows consultants unaccustomed to these novel techniques to properly assess and appreciate the many fields of application (via the FAQ), the techniques of application and in particular the management of specific points as well as the regulatory domain (standards, technical reports) specific to the sector.

Next year, Terreal will be exhibiting at the BAU trade show in Munich from Jan.
