Thomas Eggar appoints new partner to head up commercial property planning group.
Thomas Eggar announce the appointment of Moira Fraser as a partner and head of the Planning Group, part of the commercial property division Based in the Gatwick office, Moira's principal areas of practice are town and country planning, including development, obtaining planning permission, listed buildings and highways

New research commissioned by law firm Thomas Eggar LLP reveals a significant level of apathy amongst property developers around the legal aspects of a development.

Moira trained in the City and has over 26 years experience as a planning specialist and, more recently, a property developer.
Moira is a member of The Law Society and the Town and Country Planning Association, and recognised as a "leader in her field" (Chambers Legal Directory).
Her recent cases have included the Morfa Stadium in Swansea and the Bristol Brewery in Bristol.
Moira brings with her many clients including, The Lower Mill Estate and the company's Chairman, Jeremy Paxton.
She has advised them since 1988, providing planning advice for the development of exclusive second homes, located in the Cotswolds.
Thomas Eggar's specialist commercial property division works with a range of clients, including institutional investors, local authorities, SME's and retailers, providing expert advice on property finance, portfolio management, property investment, planning, development and environmental issues.
Prior to joining Thomas Eggar, Moira established Foundation Land , a building and property development company.
Before that she was an Equity Partner at Fladgate Fielder and Head of the Town and County Planning Group.
