Uranazz, the UK's leading supplier of concrete equipment, is launching a new range of volumetric concrete mixers at SED 2005

Uranazz Limited, the UK's leading supplier of concrete equipment, is launching a new range of volumetric concrete mixers at SED 2005, on stand 24C Utranazz's volumetric mixers offer substantial advantages over traditional methods of concrete delivery

Available in front or rear discharge models with 2 - 10 cubic meter capacities, they can supply concrete in volumes from as little as a barrow load up to impressive rates of 60m3 per hour.

Each of Utranazz's volumetric mixers is custom built with drive options ranging from PTO to auxiliary.

A volumetric mixer is basically a mobile truck mixer and batching plant rolled into one.

All the raw materials are stored in separate compartments and these are then metered and mixed into fresh concrete where and when it's needed.

This means that there is no expensive waste of materials, as the unmixed product remains useable indefinitely.

Furthermore, it means that ready mix suppliers don't have to worry about recycling the leftover product, which is another cost saving.

Utranazz volumetric mixers can supply all mixes and grades of concrete, including screed and mortar.

Mixes and grades can be switched from one customer to the next or even halfway through a job if necessary.

A further key benefit Utranazz volumetric mixers offer is that they are environmentally friendly because they travel between customers without having to keep returning to base to re-load, as would be necessary with a traditional truck mixer.

They can simply re-load at a builders merchants or satellite depot.

This allows more deliveries to be made in a day and therefore greater profits to be made.

In addition, volumetric mixers provide greater customer satisfaction, as they eliminate the need for part load charges and customers don't need to worry about over or under ordering.

With Utranazz's volumetric mixers customers can estimate the amount of concrete needed and then the exact quantity can be mixed on site, and they'll only pay for what they use.

Tony Evans, director at Utranazz, said: "We decided to add volumetric mixers to our range of concrete equipment because the industry is moving towards different types of concrete delivery that can offer greater flexibility and efficiency".

"We have noticed a definite trend towards the use and purchase of such equipment." Utranazz Limited has been established since 1968.

It specialises in all types of concrete machinery and equipment, offering an unrivalled range of new and used equipment for hire and purchase.

It has a sales network throughout the UK and outlets through many countries.
