Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 31, 2007

With TimberTech there is no need for painting, staining or oiling and unlike wood it also resists mildew and moss, so future maintenance costs are cut even before the project starts.

TimberTech is unlike any other decking.

Combining style and durability this next generation product is set to revolutionise the way we use decking in the future.

Not only is TimberTech remarkably easy to construct, it's even easier to care for.

There is no need for painting, staining or oiling and unlike wood it also resists mildew and moss, so future maintenance costs are cut even before the project starts.

Made from a blend of recycled American hardwood and pure polymer, TimberTech is virtually water resistant.

There is very little contraction and expansion so it's stability is second-to-none, with no warping or twisting.

Whilst it retains all the aesthetics of timber decking TimberTech will never rot split or crack, it's splinter free and its anti-slip finish means it's significantly less slippery when wet than traditional decking.

This makes it perfect for use in gardens or public spaces, particularly those used by children, the elderly or infirm.

It's also the solution for flooring problems around hot-tubs, swimming pools and other areas prone to saturation.

TimberTech is available in three non fade colours - Cedar, Redwood and Grey, and comes with two textures - brushed on one side and grained on the other.

The TimberTech range encompasses a variety of different decking styles to suit individual needs, alongside a collection of railings and balusters to complete the overall look and incorporate maximum safety.

TimberTech also produces the Docksider plank, ideal for all marinas, docks and boardwalks.
